Bear Point Boat Launch Improvements
This project included removing approximately 1000 cubic yards of unclassified material. Geotextile fabric was installed before bringing in 1200 tons of Bahamas Rock to regrade and level the surface of the parking area. The new boat launch ramp was also reconstructed with a new ramp surface poured at a more optimal angle to accommodate boat launching and retrieval of a variety of boat sizes as well as a new entrance to the Bear Point Launch.
